Service Level Agreement

This Service Level Agreement ("SLA") describes the level of service that Numerical Technologies Incorporated. and Numerical Technologies Pte. Ltd. ("NumTech", "us", "we" or “our”) guarantee to users who have agreed to our Service Agreement ("Client") for the use of our cloud NtSaaS Services ("NtSaaS").

In the event of any inconsistency or contradiction between the SLA and Service Agreement, the SLA shall govern and prevail.

Provision of Service
NumTech shall understand the duties and responsibilities according to our internal company policies and engage in the provision of NtSaaS service.
Access Management
NumTech has strong internal control policies in place where all access to NtSaaS user accounts is on a need-to-know basis. The account referred to herein shall be different from the account unique to each user used by Client for measurement operations.
Data Management We shall manage the data used in NtSaaS based on our internal company policies. However, Client bears sole responsibility for a backup of the data used in NtSaaS.
- Encryption
  - Communication between Client’s environment and NtSaaS
  - Input data, calculation results, operation logs, task logs (user management, etc), system logs and access logs stored in NtSaaS
- Logs
  - Operation logs (user, execution date, execution time, workspace used, etc. during simulation execution), task logs, system logs and access logs
  - Retention period: 12 months
- Backups
  - Operation logs, task logs, system logs, access logs and application files (The calculation result files are not subject to backup.)
Availability We will conduct following actions in order to maintain our service availability.
- We strive to provide the best environment for each Client to meet their work and system requirements considering their convenience and budget.
- To continue providing stable service, there may be scheduled and possible urgent maintenance performed during the time shown in “6. Support Service”.
Reliability In order to improve the reliability of NtSaaS, we will ensure the following:
- Application updates (includes bug-fix, new feature addition, specification change)
- System updates (OS, middleware and more) to the latest version
Support Service Our support is available as below:
- During 09:00-17:00 (GMT +9 Japan time) Monday to Friday except for Japan public holidays and year-end December 30th to January 3rd.
- Via emails and calls.
- Provision of monthly report.
Supported System NtSaaS supports following systems. Client must not use NtSaaS in other system except for the below stated systems. Supported versions of OS and browsers are specified by us.
- Windows OS
- NtSaaS client or one of the following web browsers: Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.
